Drawing inspiration from popular musical fountains of USA, the chief minister Akhilesh Yadav has recommended installing a giant size Bellagio fountain near Gomti, as a part of Gomti riverfront project.

The irrigation department would soon install a 95 metre long musical fountain near the weir at La Martiniere Boys College in Gomtinagar. This will be set up on the lake, created close by Gomti. Roop Singh Yadav, nodal in-charge of Gomti Riverfront project said, “The fountain has many unique features and is popular all over the world because of its spectacular mix of water, lights and music.
