Being hailed as one of the most ambitious projects of Akhilesh government, Lucknow Metro is all set to move to the next level with work on the 11km stretch from KD Singh Babu Stadium to Munshipulia. The project is well poised to achieve its completion deadline and the work on digging metro tunnel and creating ballastless tracks is under construction. Let’s have a look how the team has been doing faster work to facilitate timely construction:
Situated over rail tracks, engineers are busy in construction of overhead lines designed on the principle of a number of overhead wires (as seen in the photograph).
The span work for Lucknow Metro’s 255m cantilever bridge, at Mawaiya railway crossing has begun. The bridge’s construction is being carried out using a form traveller system and will consist of 3 spans – a 105m long central span and two 75m long end-spans. The construction crew has been swiftly working on it.
With the aid of hardworking professionals and advanced production facilities, LMRC has been able to develop a smart Token Vending Machine and Lucknow Metro Smart Card. These machines are easy to maintain and requires low maintenance. Before being dispatched, the quality analysers would stringently check their performance to ensure their flawlessness.
Uttar Hamara feels proud to share the smart moves of Lucknow Metro Rail Team towards sustainable and swift completion!
