Sparkling Beauty, just what her name means, Sushma has one of the most brilliant minds in the country. Hailing from Lucknow, Sushma Verma completed her schooling at the age of 10 and graduation at 13, leaving everyone in awe.
Sushma is a daughter of a daily wage earner and has just completed MSc in Microbiology from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Lucknow. At 7, she made it to the Limca Book of Records taking her own brother’s spot, who completed High School at the age of 9.
What makes this young girl so great is her humility and humbleness. She wants to be a doctor but is not allowed to pursue MBBS because there is an age limit of 17 in her desirous field. Sushma’s greatest regret is that she will never know how she fared in the exam because her results were withheld.
The youngest to pursue a PG course in India wishes to tell everyone to ‘believe in positive thinking – every cloud has a silver lining.’ She is currently pursuing PhD in agricultural microbiology and we wish her all the best for future endeavours.
