Dimple is a prominent face of the Samajwadi Party, who represents crores of Uttar Pradesh women. Speaking for women empowerment in Netherlands, Dimple said, the world would not progress without ensuring its women progressed with it. She has worked behind the scenes to make sure that welfare schemes especially those related to women and children, are implemented effectively and even giving shape to some new state initiatives like Samajwadi Pension Yojna, Marriage Scheme for women and providing financial assistance to the acid attack victims.

Dimple Yadav plays a key role in shaping women and children centric policies in the state. She has spoken several times in bringing down maternal and child mortality rates in Uttar Pradesh and boosting the children’s nutritional figures through Samajwadi government schemes like Hausla Poshan Yojna, Mid-Day Meal Scheme and M-Sehat.

With an aim to empower women, Dimple Yadav along with her husband and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, established ‘1090 Women Power Line’, a first-of-its-kind initiative to help women from harassment and ensure their safety in the state. Dimple has also been a driving force in setting up the Rani Laxmi Bai Mahila Samman Kosh and the Asha Jyoti Kendras for women welfare in Uttar Pradesh.
