Akhilesh Yadav Launches Mega Call Centre for Good Governance

E-Governance in any state or country leads to economic, social, and strategic productivity. It ensures prosperity, better opportunities, and a transparent government which helps in identification of administrative deficiencies.

To ensure transparency and accountability of government departments, Akhilesh Yadav government has launched a mega call centre in Lucknow with an aim to achieve the goal of good governance using latest technology.

Feedback from 2 Crore People


The responsibility of running the mega call centre has been handed to Karvy Data Management Services and with the help of this, direct feedback from 2 crore people would be taken. There are 325 employees who have been assigned work and the number is likely to go up to 500 in a short span. The call centre would help in taking feedback from beneficiaries of 20 schemes run by 13 state government departments and would be used to further calibrate the schemes in best interests of the people.

There are various welfare schemes being executed by Samajwadi Party government in the state but there are some people who are not getting benefitted either for the lack of knowledge or due to some other reasons. The new call centre would bridge this gap with proper guidance and real feedback from the people.

Trial of the Call Centre


Few days back, the trial of call centre was underway and the written feedback by the beneficiaries showed heartening results on many schemes including the Samajwadi Pension Scheme. Encouraging feedback have been noticed from people who survived from serious diseases like cancer by CM’s help.

More than 90% people have told the state government that funds helped them in meeting the treatment cost. Feedback on solar pump tube-well, laptop distribution and the proposed free smart phone distribution scheme were also very encouraging.

The call centre would get feedback from people on various social welfare schemes, rural development, health, secondary education, minority welfare, animal husbandry, revenue, agriculture, urban employment, power, labour etc.

We are very happy to see the pioneering efforts of CM Akhilesh Yadav to improve the quality of governance!
